Chive eating a wasp
Seriously, who’d have thunk! Not often a wasp is bullied off the board but this one was deep sixed by a carnivore chive.
I know, I know, old Magoo wouldn’t believe it either if he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes.
This wasp fellow was on that little chive there feeding away when big brother chive must have thought “Cheeky freeloader devil I’ll sort him out”, and quick as a hiccup he bent over, grabbed him by the head and yanked him clean off. You can see the awesome power of the chive there for yourself, look at him dangling, kicking and struggling, pushing against the flower in desperation to escape - no chance, this fellow was a bruiser I’m telling you, and properly quick, one minute the wasp was there, the next minute the chive swalloed him whole. Kid you not….Magoo saw it with his own eyes.
No, no don’t start with that ‘he must have flown off nonsense’, that’s a cheap shot and a lame way out ….. besides, I was there and you weren’t. Show me a photo of a wasp flying off from a chive attack and you might have a point, until then button it because this photo evidence would stand up in a Court of Law no doubt, people have swung from flimsier ropes.
It might be prudent to warn your friends to wear kevlar gloves when handling these carnivores and if they don’t believe you send them here. I’m not sure how big a prey they can take but for you nay sayers who seem to visit this page, if you lose the end of a finger to one of these chive brutes, feel free to drop by and leave an apology - I’ll understand.
Another scoop for this page - how photojournalism should be, not like that agenda driven drivel spewed all over the rags and from the mouths of tv mannequins.....
