Morning Mist
Normally when I take shots into the mist they come out as dull and lifeless. This one however, I am rather happier with. I dropped the light temperature down to give it that cold feel and a slight tweak of the curves for a bit of punch.
The tree in the image is part of the locally infamous "chainsaw massacre" which marked the purchase of the lake by Lincoln District Angling Association (LDAA) in November 2020 when ~50 of the mature birches were destroyed.
