On the Lichen Trail

I am privileged to live within a few hundred yards of this nature reserve, but have still walked past this sign, and the lichens on the nearby stone, many many times without seeing. Here are some grabbed shots on my morning walk the other day. I plan to look again when the wind dies down and the rain stops for half an hour.
