Kuiphuis Mercedes Actros and Sennebogen telehandler
I often plan my models a long time in advance but this was an exception. It started when I decided to build a new Mercedes Arocs tractor to replace my Mammoet Mercedes Actros. By now they are fairly old trucks and Mammoet does not seem to use them any more. I still did quite like my LEGO Actros design, though, so I started looking for another suitable livery to build it in. By coincidence, Kuiphuis, the crane rental company one of whose cranes I built about three years ago, happens to operate at least one to pull trailers that carry telehandlers, and a new idea for a model was born.
