F-14D Super Tomcat (10)

During the jet's most recent rebuild, I completely rebuilt the upper part of the rear fuselage, for two reasons. If you look closely you'll see that the leading edge of the vertical fins is built with SNOT work- this to make their angle more accurate. Part of the SNOT-work actually goes into the fuselage. The other reason for the changes is that by building the fuselage with half-stud-offsets, I set the fins at a position that corresponds better to the position on the real jet. I also rebuilt the afterburner nozzles. I was lucky enough to be able to source a few pearlescent grey 1x2 tiles for this.
