i'm still roaming the woods... a little obsessed with this interesting plant. it completely lacks chlorophyll, so in order to get the nutrients it needs, it parasitizes a few species of mushrooms that form mycorrhizal(symbiotic) relationships with trees... amazing what goes on under our feet.
