Today , a toast to all my Flickr friends !!

Last year I forgot my Flickr birthday, anniversary or whatever you choose to call it ..

So this year I decided to celebrate what for me has been a wonderful, unique, sometimes frustrating but always fascinating (and somewhat addictive LOL) experience .............a few days early.

My first real public upload was on the 23rd of November, 2006..which is Sunday

I don't even know if I will be here on Sunday but that is another story..

 

For now, I want to thank all of my Flickr Friends and contacts who have enriched my life, supported my humble efforts at photography, gave me a lot of laughs....made me smile frequently, left me in awe with so much amazing photographic imagery that often takes my breath away.....For those who remind me that Flickr is a lot like life with its ups and downs, its social connections, frustrations, politics, etc. I toast you !

There seems to be something for most people in this virtual world and I have really , truly enjoyed every minute of it.....ok maybe not every minute but mostly..

Because of all of you, I have discovered more about myself, learned that my camera is like a second eye.....and that it rests more than comfortably in my hands

 

To all of you I have known almost since day one and to those i am just beginning to get to know
