As could be expected, this month hasn't been a walk in the park--but ten years from now, I want to be able to remember that it was your father who thought of a rainbow when I played that song, that you thought some holly would be a nice picture for the cover of the programs, that we drew pictures of each other and realized that we both share the same dead eyes. There are a lot of things that I would like to be able to remember at least once more before I die, but I've given up on remembering it all. We should, however, remember to make time for a trip down south to see if it is atypical to receive four pieces of alligator in an $11 basket, if shrimp Creole usually has shrimp in it, and if it is possible to convey an order of such delicacies without an inconceivable level of difficulty.

 

It's going on 3am now and you've gone to bed, but believe me when I say that if I know anything, I know that I would marry this little math tutor without a second thought. We should really try to find her when we go down there to get our Jumbalaya.
