Bike and post box

Strange how the tiff seems to differ in vibrance from the jpeg on screen in Photoshop and the jpeg viewed on flickr (using Flock) seems to be darker ans more contrasty.

Anyway, one of those days. Car immobiliser has immobilised car so I went off in search of a new vehicle. (At two hundred quid a pop my motors get thrown away as soon as they do something bad or expensive). Stopped on the way at the local Lloyds chemist for a freediabetes test. Woman doing the test seemed excited and concerned at the result 9.7. Told to come back for a second test in two hours. Wandered off, and it appeared to me that the bike and pillar box outside Tesco Express, (Church Road, Hayling) were quite vibrant together, something I've tried to capture by tweaking the photo in Lightroom and Photoshop.

So over to you - should I have bothered, what does it do for you and how come images in different sizes and digital formats seem to differ in tonality on my screen?
