This big, beautiful yellow dog. What can we say?
On any given day, our Princess, our Stinkpot, our Sassy Pants, our Snaggleooth. And when out and about exploring together, always the leader of our little pack. Just as funny, sunny, and amiable as labs come.
We're grateful for memories of this glorious day at Jekyll Island on a recent trip to Georgia. What a comfort to remember such happy times when learning, yesterday, that the clock is now ticking with a diagnosis of Splenic Hemangiosarcoma.
Steve and I are choosing not to put Molly through a big surgery with a poor prognosis. We hope we still have weeks, maybe months, to enjoy her, but this is a cruel aggressive cancer that is unpredictable and can cause a sudden bleed. We'll take things day by day and just love her as hard as we can for as long as we've got left.
What a privilege it is to have had this pure soul spend her whole life in our care and to share her with Flickr friends over the years. Thank you all for loving her too.
