At Jennifer's pre-wedding party at her house Saturday night. I only got this one picture there, but that's more than enough, because this pretty much gives you a sense of all that went on the entire evening: sitting, chatting, eating, drinking.
Jennifer had hoped to make it a Fifties-themed party, and the closest she got was having toothpicks ready to put in all of the hors d'oeuvres, which she understood to be a common practice in the Fifties. But she had to work that day and never even had time to pierce all the food with the toothpicks.
I sat in that chair next to Jennifer (who is on the far left) pretty much the entire time, stuffing myself with far too much cheese and crackers. I hadn't had any dinner before coming and it was not the most nutritious meal -- but I'm sure all the grazing I did while sitting there packed a huge caloric punch. At least I also had several bites of pineapple and strawberries, and those have some nutrients, right?
