"...and don't forget to wash behind the ears!"

This reminded me so much of my dear old Mum's nightly instructions 60+ years ago when winter washing in our freezing cold bathroom heated only by a paraffin heater. It was also followed with.....'Oh, and don't leave a tide mark!' ( Anyone out there old enough to remember that one? ...i.e. take your shirt and vest off to wash !!)
