Paul singing ... "I'm Orange! Why oh Why?"
Question: Can anyone tell me why these turned to yellow/orange? And in most of them the faces are totally washed out and bereft of any color. This is my first time using the available light in a dark, inside setting -- no flash!!!! This is a gym so I'm sure the lights are florescent. I tried to make use of the light here to create some ambiance. I am pleased that things are in focus at all. They did turn yellow/orange. Any suggestions as to how to avoid this would be SO appreciated! My camera is a Nikon D50. My lense is Nikkor 18-55 1: 3.5-5.6. I just kept messing around with white balance and ISO, making the f/lower and lower until something worked. It was a crap shoot (because as this point I don't know they WHYs and WHATFORs related to ISO and White Balance etc. I really didn't expect to get anything worthwhile.
