Egg mass of a Caddis Fly (Glyphotaelius pellucidus)

Photographed in Christchurch Park, Ipswich, East Suffolk (TM 16422 45181) on 5-Oct-2014. The eggs were stuck to a bramble leaf by a path through a wooded area quite a few metres from the large "Wilderness Pond" in the park. There is only one other British Caddisfly that lays its eggs in a gelatinous mass like this and that inhabits the Highland bogs. ID confirmed by Dr Ian Wallace (Trichoptera Recording Scheme).
