Max Maas Home, c. 1886

1802 Sealy at 18th Street, Galveston, TX. Max Maas was State and County tax collector in Galveston. The house is constructed of cypress and decorated with ‘Texas Star’ emblems.

The house has been painted different colors since I took this photo in 2003. Here's a much better view of it from another photographer whose first name also happens to be Lynn: www.pbase.com/lynnh/image/117261224
