Mountain Bluebird

Some write ups say that this bird is the inspiration for the phrase “ bluebird of happiness”. Well, I might just believe that because I sure was happy to see this guy flying about at a lookout point near Kamloops, BC. I was just sitting on a rock admiring the view below when this bird caught my attention.
