This bud is nestled between the two blossoms just waiting for his turn to show off. These blossoms are beautiful at this time of year but they don't last long. If you really look closely, you will see a tiny seed on the petal of the bloom in the foreground. That bloom is actually between the bud and the seed which represents the cycle of life.
