Traffic safety poster (Zhengzhou - 3), 1983

The sign reads:

 

同志,注意车速,我们等你安全归来, Tóngzhì, zhùyì chēsù, wŏmen dĕngnĭ ānquán guīlái.

 

We might say something like:

 

"Comrades, watch your speed, we want you to get there and back, safely."

 

(... however, we would "probably" not begin with "Comrades" ...)

 

Note that the poster was sponsored apparently by the trolleybus operator (郑州市电车公司, Zhēngzhōu Shì Diànchē Gōngsī ("Zhengzhou City Trolleybus Company").
