Golden Gate Bridge North Tower

There are about 600,000 rivets used in the construction of the bridge's Art Deco

tower alone. Since the 1970s, corroded rivets have been replaced with ASTM A-325 high-strength galvanized bolts. As of 2019, over 2.2 million rivets have already been replaced throughout the bridge's structure.
