Welcome to Hoth, the ice planet ;)

Iceland's ice wilderness in the South is something one needs to have encountered once in a lifetime. The landscape is flat with mountain ranges in the far distance, covered in ice, snow and in some parts also volcanic ash and countless riviets and small rivers carrying water from the mountains towards the coast nearby. I shot this early morning after we left the "container hotel" where we had rested and the dawn light was just amazing over this wilderness.
