Packhorse Bridge romanticism

Carrbridge in the Northern Cairngorms, the oldest bridge in the Scottish Highlands, built in 1717 as a packhorse bridge, provides all the romanticism imaginable. Truly a sight to behold :)

 

Rumour has it that locals are still fond of testing their courage by jumping into the river Dulnain from the centre of this relic :))
