White-breasted Waterhen

This White-breasted Waterhen, a member of the Rails, Gallinules, and Coots family (Rallidae), was in Yilan County southeast of Taipei, Taiwan. I was glad to be able to get an image of this colourful species, which is found widely through South, East, and Southeast Asia.
