Flavescent Bulbul
We saw Flavescent Bulbul regularly on the days in northern Thailand of our two-week tour, such that we may have become blasé about this species. One of the reasons we observed it more often is that it “prefers open forest and edge habitat” (eBird) rather than dense mature forest. It tends not to frequent cities, which made it more my kind of bird. This individual was seen high up on a ridge in the Doi Lang area of Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park in Chiang Mai province.
