Bronze-winged Jacana

Bronze-winged Jacana has a colourful appearance in adult plumage; juveniles are overall brownish yet still eye-catching. Here an adult is getting airborne, with its long toes dangling. (The toes help these birds walk on the floating vegetation of their wetland habitats.) This bird was at the Bueng Boraphet Non-hunting Area, Nakhon Sawan province, Thailand.
