Green Gables (Film)
Camera: Hasselblad 500 C/M medium format film camera,
Carl Zeiss f/2.8 80mm Planar lens.
Film: Kodak Gold 200 120
Scanned by Walkens House of Film, Melbourne, Australia
"Green Gables" is the home and studio of Tasmania's longest serving premier professional photographer, Owen Hughes. Owen has been in the business for 60 years and is well known for his magnificent photobooks of Tasmania. www.owenhughes.com.au/
The Hasselblad 500 C/M is not quite like the Rolleiflex in terms of shooting convenience. Whist not as heavy as some medium format cameras (e.g. the Mamiya RZ67), it is still primarily designed for studio work. But it can be handheld to good effect, although the slap from the mirror makes a sharp contrast with the silent shutter of the mirrorless Twin Lens Reflex cameras.
