Circular Quay

Here is the actual hub of Sydney Harbour activity. A transport hub certainly, the trains and buses meet the ferries - the most effective way to get around the harbour. But it is also the site of a cruise ship terminal, the Museum of Modern Art, restaurants such as the famous Quay (expensive, but worth every penny). On the other side is the Sydney Opera House. I won't mention the other architectural atrocity of an apartment complex which former Prime Minister Paul Keating once disparagingly referred to as "The Toaster". Really so out of character against the stunning Opera House. But nevertheless Sydney is a beautiful city.

These old rediscovered file photos of mine are a tribute to the humble snapshot.
