The Daily Commute

Living in the suburbs requires a daily commute. For most this involves driving to work. In fact the modern suburb was made possible because of the automobile and freeway system. Patronage of the transport system is very strong in Melbourne (although pandemic restrictions have reduced the numbers of travelers on public transport).
