State Government Offices

This attractive looking Victorian-era building is the Launceston State Government Building. The Premier of Tasmania uses this office when in the city. A tablet was placed on this building in 1942 to mark the 300th anniversary since the European discovery of Tasmania (Van Diemen's Land) by Dutch explorer Abel Tasman.
