Mount Cameron is not a high mountain, but then none of Tasmania's mountains are. Millions of years of geological activity has ground the Tasmanian mountains down. The world highest mountain ranges are actually the youngest in geological terms.
Mount Cameron, with its prominent rocky peak, can be seen here through the haze from Tomahawk on the northeastern coastline. We have actually seen the south side of Mount Cameron previously, at the Little Blue Lake (I'll post the link below).
