Melanargia galathea
The Marbled White
Melanargia galathea
Linnaeus, 1758
I always wanted to take a photograph of a butterfly with open wings and seen from the front. Focus bracketing of Olympus cameras really shines in this kind of frames. When I have good conditions (most of all - lack of wind...), with this feature it is possible to have whole insect in focus in several seconds.
ƒ/3.5, 1/30 s, ISO 200 - stacked from 48 exposures; natural light
OLYMPUS OM-D E-M1 MARK II + Olympus M.Zuiko 60 mm F/2,8 Macro + Hoya Fusion ONE CIR-PL + Berlebach Mini Stativ + Manfrotto 410 Junior + Novoflex Castel XQ II
