Why is it called the HAIRY dragonfly?
Brachytron pratense
Hairy dragonfly
ƒ/11, 1/200 s, ISO 400; natural light
Nikon D7100 + Sigma 105 mm Macro + Manfrotto MT190XPRO3 + Velbon Mag Slider
Last stage of metamorphosis of the dragonfly is pumping hemolymph into the wings. By the way, now I know why this hawker is called hairy.
