(Luc.) Manoushe, Levantine Flatbread

When I moved into my log cabin-themed Linden Home (my first ever Linden Home) I held my breath excited to be part of a pie-baking, welcome-to-the-neighborhood type of sitcom scenario. That didn't quite happen but I did meet my new home's previous inhabitants. Maya and Kanjena were chatting in an empty house freshly deeded to me. I teleported out right away thinking there must have been some error, and my new house must have been owned already. Quickly though, they messaged me, greeted me, teleported me back, and welcomed me to the neighborhood. They said they were leaving for the new Linden Beach homes. With a little conversation, I learned Maya made amazing tattoos for Rezz Room Sphinx cats, and soon I was being asked to cook up a virtual Manoushe. A Manou-what? Google helped with that, and after months of procrastination, I was able to create and share with you all this delicious flatbread thanks to Miss Maya's persistence. I haven't had a real Manoushe yet, but I hear there's a specialty nook in Greenwich Village, New York whose Manoushe's have my name on it. The place is called Manousheh: a real taste of Beirut (www.manousheh.com) Do you know it? Have you tried it? Have you been there? Or perhaps Manoushe's are local to you and your culture? Let me know your Manoushe stories!

Or, if you have other suggestions for food content, pass 'em my way, and I'd be honored to dabble "cooking" them up in Second Life.

Find the Manoushe at the Food Court until January 25th
