TX-225 GAVw "Occupier" combat assault tank
My new and improved TX-225 tank from the Jedha sequence of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
While I'm still considering this model an updated version of my previous Rogue One tank, it is almost entirely different in terms of techniques and parts used.
The new model features about 1100 individual elements and is a stud shorter ( and that for more size-accurate) compared to it\'s 2020 counterpart.
My goal with this model was to get rid of unnecessary studs and create clean surfaces where they were supposed to be. I also included more accurate greebles in the detailed areas.
Originally the tank was meant to be build in Dark Gray colours but the unavailability of the 3x3 round bricks in the colour made me switch back to Light Bluish Gray.
Thanks to everybody tagged for feedback and support during the building process and especially to Trevor.2004 for the great suggestion of using the Ninjago ninjastar-sprue piece in combination with the bucket handle for the side of the cockpit!
Happy Star Wars Day!
