Dewback with imperial Sandtroopers
It's been quite a while since I first brick-built a Dewback out of system parts. This time I tried to make it even a little more accurate to the source material by changing up some proportions (mostly in the head and neck section). Additionally I also was finally able to get rid of all remaining light bluish gray Mixel joint elements that were sticking out of the last version by placing them closer to the body rather than the legs. I was surprised to actually be able to keep most move-ability and pose-ability and even add a little more articulation for the head by using another Mixel ball joint element!
I built and displayed the Dewback in 2021 with some early progress even made in late 2020. If you wanted to see it in-person you could at the IDS Brickworld in Velen, Germany in November 2021!
This model also gave me another chance to improve my picture quality (Please let me know if you like it).
