Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter

 

Today I and Dunkler Vater are presenting you this part of our Open Circle Fleet collaboration. The Open Circle Fleet was arleady displayed at two conventions.

The Collab features a Venator class Star Destroyer, an ARC-170 starfighter and a V-wing.

Venator Class:

 

"The Venator-class Star Destroyer also known as the Venator-class Destroyer, Republic attack cruiser, and later Imperial attack cruiser, was one of the capital ships used extensively by the Galactic Republic during the later parts of the Clone Wars, as well as by the Galactic Empire. It was designed and constructed by Kuat Drive Yards and Allanteen Six shipyards."

V-wings were also utilized as escort fighters for Emperor Palpatine\'s personal Theta-class T-2c shuttle."

Jointly manufactured by Incom Corporation and Subpro, it would continue to see usage into the reign of the Galactic Empire, but would eventually be phased out by the newer TIE line."
