Dear Flickr friends, I know it's been a while since I've come back here.

 

Everything is going great, I've been really busy and I can't wait to spend some great time for Christmas.

 

I should be processing tons of files pretty soon...

 

In the next hours I will be trying to catch up with some of your new works, I'll try to do my best!

 

This shot comes from an early morning photoshoot from last saturday. It snowed all night and I couldn't miss the early morning white landscape!

- CANON 400d, EF-S 10-22 @ 10mm, f/9, 1/60s, ISO 100.

- Tripod

The Processing Just one exposure, no HDR

 

Capture one

- White balance tuning

- Little highlight recovery

 

Photoshop:

 

- Switched to LAB to provide a good tonal starting point

- Created 5 Overlay layers to adjust light

- Applied a warming photo filter to remove some blue in the snow

- Created a slight lighting curve

- Toned the colors with a Color Balance layer

- Improved microcontrast with Unsharp Mask

- Resized

- Sharpened (SS + More Accurate)

- Framing and signature.
