Pilgrims at Labrang monastery

Pilgrims travel great distances to Labrang Monastery at Xiahe, one of the most significant Tibetan Buddhist monasteries outside of Tibet proper, to pay their respects to the Buddha by walking the Kora, a 3km-long circuit containing nearly 1200 prayer wheels.
