Bornean imperial ! (Cheritra pallida)

This was the only one of these I have seen - thanks to Adrian who spotted it. It was quite settled in the mud near the edge of the volcanic mud flow.

I suspect they are not all that common.

It was another butterfly I was hoping to see.

Apparently it is not what I thought but a related Bornean relative that is endemic to Borneo.

I can find no common name so have called it Bornean imperial, which fits.
