Didn't know what I had until way later, RaeAn had gone home, I'm looking at the photos and hot damn!

At the time, didn't seem all that interesting, we headed inside after a few of these outdoor shots, but ...hot damn!

And I never really tried this again...no, no wait, I did! I tried it with Stephanie, maybe a month or so later, and that went great, too!

Why didn't I make this a regular thing? Maybe I burned out on using these Chinese night lights, who knows, I'm an artist, we're mercurial creatures.

I used those Chinese night lights a lot for a good few months, I can see myself getting tired of it, wanting to move on...but this shot in particular has stayed with me, an idea I never fully explored, one I'd like to go back to, one of these days.

(And I suppose it says a lot about the shoot that I'm spending my time talking about the lights rather than RaeAn...she was a nice lady! Another one where I felt I wasn't able to establish a real rapport, and right now I'm thinking it all comes down to making folks laugh. If they're not into my sense of humor, we're not gonna connect.

Which is fine! But, you know, sub-optimal. Humor, that's one of my main tools, see, it's part of the performance, but it's also about having a similar...outlook on life? In any event, how about these lights!)
