Were I to come back to this idea, using the Chinese night lights I found on Amazon to light a subject...this would be where I'd start. More than just a strange light for a normal subject, I'd push the composition more, try to get weirder with the framing, with what I'd have my subjects do.

So much of looking at the old photos, right now, is about seeing new avenues from old techniques. What roads did I neglect to follow, which avenues did I not investigate.

An easy way to end up regretful, but I see it as a map to new possibilities. It's not always easy, but it's important to keep yourself from sliding into negative feelings like regret. Actively push against that kind of thing. What happened happened, a positive way of transmuting that feeling is considering where it can take you, looking forward.

This photo doesn't make me think about what I should've done, but about what I Can do, next time I have the opportunity.
