10/12: Jasmine At the Lookout
We are still in the NC mountains.. Jasmine and her brother Jake love hiking in the woods. Jasmine does well off leash. Jake has one bad cataract and does not see well, so I can only sparingly let him off leash. He's too likely to go off trail and poke himself barreling through bushes, etc., although he mostly stays on trail with us. Just nervous about his difficulty seeing. Jasmine always goes and gets him. Jasmine mostly minds very well, at two years old. She is a love, and so happy all the time. She gets her 11 yr. old brother to play and keeps him young.
Jasmine runs and leaps on the trails. They are her favorite place. We made it to the lookout yesterday just before sunset, and she happily posed for this picture. The sun set shortly, and we hiked back a mile, in the dusk. It is was beautiful. Still enough light to see.
We head back to FL Keys at the end of next week.
