Mark Scott showing the results of his fall. Details below.
Mark's wife Debra explained:
“Well, here we go, our last leg of this vacation journey and the final story from our Durango/Silverton train ride! We should be able to make it home tonight sometime. Yes, you see a casted Mark! As he says: “All the years and all the thousands of miles he rode his motorcycle, it was a scooter in turtle mode that took him down.” He has a broken left elbow, cracked ribs, and a bruised knee. He is certainly feeling the after affects of the fall on his left side. There’s so many miracles that took place here. There were 6 men that came out of nowhere (Angels in disguise) and got him and his scooter upright within minutes. The ER in Durango was tremendous! Mark did not hit his head on the pavement! He did not break a hip! We have an emergency appointment set for Monday with the Orthopedic Specialist back home. We do ask for continued prayers for ease of pain, more comfort, and a continued safe journey home today. We have at least 11 more hours to drive. I have Mark cozied up in the back seat, tucked in with blankets for safety and comfort.”
