Lotus Excel V8

Keeping the basic Excel - amending it to suit my personal preferences.

The original car was the starting point - It’s a place of inspiration

I have taken the fantastic Lotus Excel and added something of myself to it, to create a car that looks and works for me in the middle of the 2nd decade of the 21st century

I think that its important that when you alter the original design, you don’t do anything that corrupts the original, so I have incorporated features that have appeared in Lotus cars from the 1970’s, for example the louvered rear window and tartan cloth seat from the Esprit, the wooden dashboard from the Elan

Just about every car looks great from some angle, but how many look great from every angle?
