We have snow. We have lots of snow. In fact this is the third morning I've woken up to this grey and white vista. So I gave my sons a ride to school. Well, sort of. I took the back road I usually take, but this morning I couldn't see a road. Just white everywhere. I headed towards the tire tracks just up ahead, but miscalculated the curve. Oops! There I was, stuck in the ditch moving neither forward nor back. The boys and I walked from here, they to school and I home for breakfast. I went back later shovel in hand to try and dig my poor car out. Fortunately, some Prairie maintanance guys saw my unhappy little self, brought around a truck and chains, and hauled me out of there. Note to self: the road less travelled should stay that way if it is snow covered.
