Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire 11th December 2022

Rostered on Stanier 8F 2-8-0 48305 our turn began at 05.15 and consisted of engine prep, 2 return trips to Leicester top & tailed with Peak D123 & hand over to our relief on the station platform.

 

After handover we all ran to the water tank where we said our farewells - the relief crew took water & I took this shot.
