Flutter Flake Blocking
This is how I pin out my tatting to block.I don't pin the picots -- that makes the pointed and not "natural looking". I pin inside the rings and chains, using plenty of pins to help the tatting keep it's natural, curved shape, avoiding adding any sharp points to the shape of the piece, s the pattern is supposed to have them.
