rendang (a variation of) paste, ingredients:

- 4 fresh birds eye chillis

- a few teaspoons of mustard seeds (instead of galangal)

- 4-6 cm ginger

- 4 stalks lemongrass

- turmeric powder, coupla teaspoons

- 4 large spring onions

- 4 cloves garlic

 

... all blitzed in the blender into a paste.
