Another time (in explore)

Over the Christmas period here in the south of the UK we were treated to three soloid days of fog. As a woodland photographer that is a rare and beautiful thing so I basically abandoned my family over the festive period and disappeared into my local woodlands for three days! This one is from my third trip out, the day after boxing day, when myself and Dave headed on down to Dartmoor and this rarest of woodlands. Dave had been struggling for a long time to get good conditions here and had finally managed to get them on a visit a few weeks before but was happy to get them again. Myself, I had top and tailed the year with greatr conditions here both in January and now December. Autumn had been quite lean for me this year so it was nice to finish on a high with three solid days of photography in three very distinct woodlands. This scene in particular was one of my favourites from here and the fog really helped bring it to life. Its always feels like I am crossingthrough time into some ancient past whenever I go here and today was no different.
