Rushing by

Another trip to Exmoor and we found this wood which apparently has some of the oldest coppiced Oaks in the country within it. I was more interested in this small, characterful river that ran through it. We don't have many rivers in our local woods so this was a treat for me to try out something a little different. I was particularly by this little scene, with the large rock covered in grass standing out as my subject matter, guarded by the overhanging tree behind it.

Exposing the water was trickier as I didn't want to lose too much detail from it so had to balance exposure with ISO as the light wasn't the best.
