Halifax Joint Committee - Over the Hill ?
Halifax Joint Committee succumbed to the pressures of bus industry in October 2010 when it sold its services in Halifax to the emerging force of Centrebus.
Centrebus are promising a newer fleet of low floor buses in the town, (Well that's alright then isn't it.)
So out with the old & in with a clean broom top sweep away more individuality, just like most of our high streets in the UK, bland boring & the same.
HJC always offered a good service with a fleet of mainly ex London & more recently Dublin vehicles, they are still to run contract services but you wont see many Metrobuses or Olympians running in regular service in these parts again.
